2008年，新加坡打印耗材展覽會(huì)將在新加坡展覽中心舉辦。該展館位于新加坡機(jī)場(chǎng)和新加坡市中心之間，占地100，000平米（1億英尺）的展館是目前東南亞地區(qū)最大的展會(huì)場(chǎng)館之一。
這將是在去年6月份新加坡展會(huì)取得巨大成功基礎(chǔ)的又一次盛會(huì)。對(duì)于大多數(shù)亞洲人來(lái)說(shuō)，新加坡是一個(gè)廣受贊譽(yù)的國(guó)家：干凈、安全、祥和，而且中英雙語(yǔ)交流。新加坡作為全球最大的港口，同時(shí)也是排在倫敦、紐約和東京之后全球第四大貿(mào)易中心。新加坡也是在世界上排名最開放友好經(jīng)濟(jì)國(guó)家。
Graham J. Galliford，再生行業(yè)全球知名的專家，以在07年展會(huì)上發(fā)表了題為“在新加坡，當(dāng)東方與西方相遇，亞洲生產(chǎn)商和西方競(jìng)爭(zhēng)對(duì)手在新型原材料資源領(lǐng)域?qū)?huì)產(chǎn)生強(qiáng)大的交互作用”。
的確，很多新產(chǎn)品都是產(chǎn)自澳大利亞、中國(guó)、香港、印度、日本、韓國(guó)、馬來(lái)西亞、菲律賓島、新加坡、臺(tái)灣和泰國(guó)的碳粉、OPC鼓、墨盒和耗材配件的生產(chǎn)商。還有許多產(chǎn)品產(chǎn)自歐洲、英國(guó)、中東和美國(guó)。
高級(jí)行業(yè)分析師，John Shane，Info Trends 總裁認(rèn)為將會(huì)址選在新加坡是非常有利的。“新加坡的地理位置優(yōu)越，因?yàn)樗挥诃h(huán)太平洋地區(qū)的中心，進(jìn)入都非常容易，而且在新加坡，優(yōu)良的設(shè)施、現(xiàn)代化的公路以及安全便捷的街道都使新加坡成為北美、歐洲、中東客商的理想之地。同時(shí)，從商業(yè)角度出發(fā)，英語(yǔ)的普及也使新加坡對(duì)西方人具有極大的吸引力”。
新加坡的命名取自馬來(lái)語(yǔ)的Singa(獅子)和Pura（城市）。酒吧的男服務(wù)生位于新加坡的全球知名的Raffles酒店作為新加坡的驕傲。在2007年展會(huì)期間很多人到富于傳奇色彩的Raffle酒吧品嘗不同風(fēng)味的酒。

In 2008, Recharge Singapore will be held at the Singex Exhibition Centre. located about halfway between Singapore Airport and downtown Singapore, this 100,000 square meter (~1 million square feet) facility is one of the largest exposition venues in Southeast Asia!
It will be the second year for RechargExpo Singapore after the smashing success of the inaugural event last June. For most Asians, Singapore is a prized destination: It is a clean, safe, peaceful venue where both Chinese and English languages are spoken. It is the world’s largest port, and the world’s fourth largest foreign exchange trading center after London, New York City and Tokyo. Singapore has also been rated as the most business-friendly economy in the world.
Graham J. Galliford, a world-renowned consultant to the imaging industry, noted that at the 2007 Show “When East met West in Singapore, there was intense interaction between Asian producers and their Western counterparts and with prospective raw material sources.”
Indeed,they came from Asian toner, OPC drum, ink jet ink and imaging hardware manufacturers in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippine Islands, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Many also came from Europe, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and the United States.
Senior industry analyst John Shane, a Director of InfoTrends (Weymouth, Massachusetts) commented favorably on the choice of Singapore as a trade show venue. “The Singapore location is quite good,” Shane said, “because it is central to the Australia-Asia-Pacific region. Ease of travel into, out of, and within Singapore, its new facilities, modern roadways, and safe streets make the city-state an attractive venue for people coming from North America, Europe, or the Middle East. Also, common use of English gives Singapore special appeal to Westerners, from a business point of view.”
Singapore derives its name from the Malay words singa (lion) and pura (city). Bartenders recognize the city’s world famous Raffles hotel as the home of the Singapore Sling many of these concoctions were consumed at the legendary Raffles Bar during RechargExpo 2007!
