通知、邀請函、詢問信、致謝信在英語寫作中的格式分別是什么?
書面通知是書面的正式公告或布告,常常是張貼在顯眼的位置,多用notice作標(biāo)志。為了醒目起見,標(biāo)志的每個字母可以用大寫NOTICE(但如發(fā)出通知的單位以首字母大寫形式出現(xiàn)在通知的標(biāo)志之上,則也要首字母大寫形式Notice),并常寫在正文上方的正中位置。標(biāo)志后可以編號,也可以不編號。口頭通知用Announcement作標(biāo)志,但通常省略不說。
二、出通知的單位及時間
發(fā)出通知的人或單位的名稱,一般寫在標(biāo)志的上方或在正文后面的右下角;發(fā)出通知的時間要寫在正文的左下角,也可按書信格式寫正文的右上角。不過,這兩項有時可以省略。口頭通知不說這兩項。
三、通知的正文
正文要寫明所做事情的具體時間、地點、概括性內(nèi)容(多為書面通知的首句)、出席對象及有關(guān)注意事項。布置工作的通知要把工作內(nèi)容和要求寫清楚。正文一般可采用文章式,為了醒目也可采用廣告式。廣告式要求簡明扼要,一個句子可以寫成幾行,且盡量寫在中間,各行的第一個字母一般都大寫。
四、通知的對象
被通知的單位或人一般用第三人稱;但如果帶有稱呼語,則用第二人稱表示被通知的對象,口頭通知就常用第二人稱表示被通知的對象。涉及要求或注意事項時,也常用第二人稱表示被通知的對象(祈使句中常常省略)。
五、通知的文體
書面通知用詞貼切,語句簡潔,具有書面化;口頭通知用詞表達要注重口語化。口頭通知的開頭往往有稱呼語(被通知的對象),如:“Boys and girls”,“Ladies and gentlemen”,“Comrades and friends”等,或用提醒聽眾注意的語句,如“Attention,please!”“Your attention,please!”“May I have your attention,please?”等,且最好有結(jié)束語,如:“Thank you(for listening)”以示禮貌.
